Hello

My name is Glenda. I am a widow. I work hard at being a Merry Widow and this website is about how I fill my time, or sometimes don't fill my time and strategies that can be explored by anyone who wants to make the most of their now living a solo status. In my past working life, I ended up as an Applied Linguist which is a fancy way of saying I taught English to migrants and refugees. Before I fell into that career I was a Social Worker and I thought a web site to help others find their way through the quagmire of grief and starting over again might be a useful thing to do. Enjoy!
